At first glance, Boomshine seems like a great idea. You click to create a reaction, which then sets off a chain reaction. Each level has progressively more circles, and requires a larger percentage of them be destroyed. The problem with Boomshine is that the early levels are too easy, while the later levels introduce so many circles that the game comes down to luck rather than strategy.

The graphics are about as simple as possible, but they don’t look particularly bad. There is a light effect that appears when the goal for the level has been reached. The music is mellow, and goes good with the games simple sound effects.

While seemingly a neat concept, clicking a clump of dots and waiting to see what happens just doesn’t make for good gameplay, and even an autistic savant couldn’t figure out where to click to set off the 12th reaction.

At first glance, 13 days in hell appears to be quite impressive. The game has a neat occult feel to it, the menus have a 3d book as a back drop, and the game starts by having you sign the ’13 days challenge pact’. Sadly, after a few rounds, the game play starts to get highly repetitive, and what you are left with is a highly-polished, but highly mediocre game.

Escaping Paris 2 is a very short, very simple little game in which you help Paris Hilton escape from jail. The controls are very simple, and all items are used automatically.

Fratboy House Wars is a worms-like game, in which you lob books, kegs, dogs, rockets and what might be beer bottles at an adjacent frat house. If you like worms, or scorched earth, you’ll probably like it – and if you do decide to play it, make sure you click the cat in the forth level!
