Death worm is a very simple game in which you, as the death worm, repeatedly jump out of the ground, destroying houses, cars, people, helicopters, UFOs and a host of other non-combatants. That’s right; in death worm nothing can kill you. Nothing even tries to kill you – the only thing you fight in death worm is the clock.

The game has one level and one mode, with objects being placed somewhat randomly. After 60 seconds the game ends and you are given a title such as Awesome or Pathetic. The controls are simple, left and right controls the worm, and mashing the space bar increases jump power. A small graphic appears when you are underground, showing your location and how much longer till your next jump.

The graphics are not bad, but there are only about 10 units, and the effects are pretty poor. The game has two different songs, one for the menu and one for the game. The sounds are decent, but there are only a few. The only technical problem with the game is the hit detection, at times the worm will pass through objects without destroying them.

The scoring system is pretty basic, giving points for units destroyed, combos and suitably high jumps.

Death worm is fun, but its simplicity causes it to get old pretty fast. Its worth at least the 60 seconds it takes to try it.

At first glance, 13 days in hell appears to be quite impressive. The game has a neat occult feel to it, the menus have a 3d book as a back drop, and the game starts by having you sign the ’13 days challenge pact’. Sadly, after a few rounds, the game play starts to get highly repetitive, and what you are left with is a highly-polished, but highly mediocre game.

Escaping Paris 2 is a very short, very simple little game in which you help Paris Hilton escape from jail. The controls are very simple, and all items are used automatically.

Fratboy House Wars is a worms-like game, in which you lob books, kegs, dogs, rockets and what might be beer bottles at an adjacent frat house. If you like worms, or scorched earth, you’ll probably like it – and if you do decide to play it, make sure you click the cat in the forth level!
