Staggy the Boy Scout Slayer II is a simply awesome side-view fighting game. Despite its name, in Staggy you kill much more than boy scouts - ninjas, crossbow men, invisible guys with sickles, paratroopers and even camels all need dealt with. The game has six melee weapons that can be bought, in addition to the sword you start with. The best weapons require a battery, meaning they can only last for part of the level. Each of the weapons acts different enough to require their own strategy, rather than being increasingly powerful versions of the same basic weapon. There are two other weapons that are only dropped by enemies, a single grenade and a super-powerful white sword. Other power-ups include health packs, god mode and money.

All of the units are randomly assembled from different parts, meaning that even the same type of guys look different. The hit system is extremely complex, sending weapons and organs flying as you kill opponents. Some enemies are ripped apart, revealing their organs, while others will loose their head, only to have blood squirt out their neck. The sound in the game is good, with music playing through all the levels. The only option that would have been nice to see is the ability to turn off the music and leave the sound effects.

While seemingly simple, the game play is far more than simple button mashing. Timing, weapon choice, power-ups and the terrain all have a big impact on the game play. If you haven’t played this game yet, I would highly recommend you check it out.

At first glance, 13 days in hell appears to be quite impressive. The game has a neat occult feel to it, the menus have a 3d book as a back drop, and the game starts by having you sign the ’13 days challenge pact’. Sadly, after a few rounds, the game play starts to get highly repetitive, and what you are left with is a highly-polished, but highly mediocre game.

Escaping Paris 2 is a very short, very simple little game in which you help Paris Hilton escape from jail. The controls are very simple, and all items are used automatically.

Fratboy House Wars is a worms-like game, in which you lob books, kegs, dogs, rockets and what might be beer bottles at an adjacent frat house. If you like worms, or scorched earth, you’ll probably like it – and if you do decide to play it, make sure you click the cat in the forth level!
