Zwingo is a great mix between an action game and a puzzle game, the final decision on what category to put it in was based on the fast game play that comes in the later levels. In the game, you whip around a ball that is attached to the mouse cursor by a line. The object of the game is to deflect the black balls that try to hit the large white ball out of the center. If that ball is knocked completely out of the inner ring, the game is lost and starts back at level one.

Between rounds, experience can be used to buy upgrades. There are four types, which can increase the size of your ball, the size of the center ball, the size of the ring area and the speed of your ball. Periodically, the game has a boss you battle, and in latter levels there are larger black balls that are much harder to deflect.

The graphics in the game are very simple, but they don’t look bad. The sound too is basic, balls plong while upbeat techno song plays.

Overall, Zwingo is a fun game with a strong emphasis on game play. There is a small issue with collision detection, where the ball will shoot off randomly rather than deflect – but it rarely happens and isn’t enough to hurt the game. While its style of game play may not be for everyone, I’d recommend you at least check it out.

At first glance, 13 days in hell appears to be quite impressive. The game has a neat occult feel to it, the menus have a 3d book as a back drop, and the game starts by having you sign the ’13 days challenge pact’. Sadly, after a few rounds, the game play starts to get highly repetitive, and what you are left with is a highly-polished, but highly mediocre game.

Escaping Paris 2 is a very short, very simple little game in which you help Paris Hilton escape from jail. The controls are very simple, and all items are used automatically.

Fratboy House Wars is a worms-like game, in which you lob books, kegs, dogs, rockets and what might be beer bottles at an adjacent frat house. If you like worms, or scorched earth, you’ll probably like it – and if you do decide to play it, make sure you click the cat in the forth level!
